Gotta love these little guys! I hear they can be tough to find and include in the frame due to their appearance but you did great here. Dramatic sky to complement the scene. Nicely done, man!

Could this potentially have been improved by using a grad nd? The foreground looks about a stop underexposed, while the sky is perfect.

If I would have put another on it would have started to turn the clouds black and they sky would be unnatural or it would have overexposed the fine details in the cacti and lighter rocks
