Finally got around to take pictures of my crafty creations of the past... half year or so? I kind of got into a stitching slump and it took the 'Any One Color Contest' over at stitchingpirates to really get out of it: Simple, small project with clear objective and a deadline. For that I picked the January and February NFSAL patterns to make a biscornu. I didn't remember the color rules exactly and got way stricter than necessary (instead of ANY greens or blues, I thought it was xxx green or yyy blue ^^'). This left me with very few possibilities and the bright greens just felt right for the still cold, wet and grayish weather.
If I remember correctly I started early March on this and finished the stitching in about a week and the assembling soon after. And the next project shortly afterwards

The patterns are the NFSAL January and February patterns from Magical525 (free patterns with a color key).

Materials used: 14 count natural Aida, DMC threads in Parrot Green (904, 906, 907), needle, scissors, polyfill.
