Awww ain't it cute, makes me want to go out and buy a small cute and furry animal to look after. Though I always used to have gerbils meself, little nippers moved like lightning they did.
Love the design of him, reminiscent of Cyndaquil I think, even looks just as timid. But looks so much smaller and cute. I love the description of him, the rolling in soft soot reminds me of these two little roborovski hamsters we had that would take sand baths. Do chinchilla do a similar thing?
I couldn't help but laugh at the idea of it runing and firing fire out of it's rear end toward unsuspecting predators though, you think it's cowering then BAM! XD

I never had gerbils.. hamsters and my chinchilla is my accumulation of rodents. XD more reptiles if anything else.
The colors remind me of cyndaquil.. that was such a cute fire type..
Hell yes! Chinchillas looooooove sand baths more than anything! lol if mine escapes and I spend an hour trying to catch him, I can just get his sand bath and he flies at me all happy and jumps in. XD It's because chinchillas don't groom themselves with saliva or whatever like other ratty beasts.

Only reptiles I had were some lizards, was too young to remember them though. I'd own more pets but house restrictions and such. Probably for the best, knowing me the house would look like the serengeti if I had my way XD
Cyndaquil was cute, but I found him and his line a bit bland. No distinct shape to it, and even the colouring was just split down his body. Hell even his stats were an exact clone of Charizard's, there was just nothing really unique about it.
Hehe, you had to be careful with roborovski hamster, they were so small they could squeeze through the bars of most cages. Once they were out finding them proved very difficult, and if you did you had to be careful of their friendly nibble, strong bite for a small critter XD
Gotta admit it's cute watching them roll about in the sand

lol same here.. the most pets I've had at once was a turtle, water dragon, two dogs, lovebird, three chinchillas, hamster, beta, and a huge colony of crickets. XD Right now I just have the dogs, lovebird a fish, and one chinchilla. No more pets for me until they start dying off.. it's a lot of work, but so easy to just keeping bringing them home. XP
Despite its simplicity, I rather liked cyndaquil's line. It's my second-favorite fire starter.. though I can't say I was impressed with the lack of more unique stats. Then again, I'm not the intense pokemaniac who even bothers to look up the stats or even pay attention to them. XD
Haha! I don't even know what kind of hamsters I had.. they didn't roll in sand, but they were mini houdinis. X3

I can imagine the work it involves, you can always tell a lot about a person by their treatment of animals.
I used to look up the stats and became something of a pokemon breeder, these days I don't have the time to keep that up so I just go 'that looks cool I'll use it' and leave it at that haha...Except Scyther, I always have to own an awesomely staterific scyther XP

Haha! Basically I only ever bred pokemon that were too hard to come by otherwise, or if they had a baby stage you couldn't catch.
Like I wanted a feraligatr, but I wanted to keep my totodile as it was, so I bred it with good ol' slutblob ditto and raised the baby to final. That was as much effort I put into it. XD

Well Pikachu is also a "mouse" pokemon, but is named after the adorable Pika, which lives in mountains. Great fire starter btw, although i think there are a few too many rodent pokes already... not your fault though.
