I felt like drawing Dany which is always fun.since I'm russian I have no idea what this thing she's wearing is called in English...can anyone tell me? (Drogo's present I guess)
EDIT: It's a Hrakkar skin...a white lion generally. Strangely in my version of the books "Hrakkar" is just the name of the clothes, not the breed of a lion ._.

In the second book she wears a white lionhead, which got hunt from drogo and was a gift for daenerys. I was searching for an hour to find a picture like this! She wears it as her hair got burnt in the fire in which her dragons were born. And with the lionhead on top she enters Quarth. A wonderful described moment in the books, which i am trying to draw.. thank you!

I'm not the biggest fan of Dany, but I have to admit I am completely in love with this drawing! She is absolutely GORGEOUS! The style itself, with its bold and sharp shadows and the odd lineart is fantastic! The setup with the lion and Dany with her hair mingling into the lions mane is just perfect! Her hands are beautiful and her face... Oh my lords, her face is beyond amazing. This is such a stunning piece, and I am so pleased I got to see it. Just fabulous!

Well don't blame me for spoiling things, but in the book Dany loses her hair when she burns with the funeral pyre of Drogo, thus she wears this to cover it up.
