Here is my conception:
He is the chief of Seraphim, who directly commands them after God. In daily basis, he takes care seraphim under his rule. A Seraph is forbidden to reveal his mask until his ascension into an Unique Seraph. In a way, Seraphiel usually maintains his child appearance to keep God pleased. This is also maintaining his purity.
According to the Bible, Seraphim are not the unique beings like the named angels. They are said to be close-enough related to God. Their face cannot be seen with a headgear which resembles snake, and Their six-wings are their very trademark. So, i took Seraphiel instead in purpose to enhance and define my Seraphim concept. Since God have fond of children, Seraphiel is designed to be alike.

It's strange how the angels' wings are always portrayed as having feathers, even though feathers were never mentioned in the Bible. What if the angels' wings looked like bat wings or even wings from butterflies, beetles or bees/ants/wasps? They might look almost nothing like animal wings, but rather something different. Maybe they just look a little bit like wings, enough that they would be called 'wings'. Just like some of the 'fish' mentioned in the Bible might not be real 'fish' but crustaceans, mollusks, and whales. In the book of Jonah, the animal that swallowed him was mentioned to be a 'fish', and back then, I think that any animal that lived in the water was considered to be a 'fish'.

Basically, i drew them in general form... Somehow in fish form, people may misunderstand. However, i can't deny that idea is somewhat new.

This is a very interesting portrayal of them! It is nice to see drawings that more resemble what's described in the bible rather than the angels that most people think of. It's definitely interesting seeing another person's view of what they may look like, a little bit different than my own thoughts.

Wow, that's amazing! I recognized Seraphim before reading the title. Do you have Azraël in the artbook too? He's my favorite, cause he's no hell angel, but an archangel (although not in the Bible, so I'm just asking). Your work truly is amazing!
