A beautiful effort. You're showing us an abundance of imagery in a muted blue light, suggestive of the moment when the piano is cooling down and the resplendence of its music slips away, ceding to ordinary awareness. Suddenly we feel the air.
There's also something sombre here in relation to music, as well as a feeling of difficulty. This silence isn't entirely still. It's introverted, yearning after something known intimately and deeply.
The composition seems imperfect to my eye. I think we see too much of the side of the piano behind the figure. However, in trying to imagine it otherwise, it occurs to me that a certain disjointedness may be essential to the concept you want to communicate, and you would risk losing that if you opted for a more ambiguous posture or another positioning. Hmm.
I like the way the photo wavers between the romantic and the surreal. Mostly I like the feeling, though. It feels like an authentic portrait of melancholy, which is a testament to your skills as an artist.

Whenever I see a new photograph from you, I'm immediately sucked into this beautiful, sad, quite place that your work always seems to inhabit. I am always just so amazed at your incredible talent. You are easily one of my favorite photographers ever.
This photo at once creates this incredible peace as well as a sadness in me, it has a sort of quiet beauty to it. The toning is perfect, as always, and the blue further enhances the sense of quiet and sadness. The lighting is beautiful and soft. I love the way the light creates a sheen on your hair and the piano behind you, as well as making the curtains and your dress glow. It's really just a perfect piece of art.
