This is a lot like how I imagine the character Jewel from the book As I Lay Dying.
The mood and atmosphere is wonderful, I can nearly hear the wind.

Everyone aks you what program you use cuz it's hard to beleive that something so nice can be done by traditional means. People could do it, but many have neither the time nor the perseverence. That's why you stand out. You can tell that the composition took thought, and the bright blue ribbon just screams to be noticed.

he might be silent, but it feels like he has a lot to say, or a really long story of misery... perhaps connected to the blue rope?

It fits the theme very well. I love the house in the background and how isolated it and the guy lboth ook. the suggestion of wind makes it seem like that's the only sound there. the way the jacket falls is very realistic. the only thing that doesn't seem to fit is that blue rope/strap he's holding. visually it's a nice contrast to the other montone grey/browns, but that just makes it seem loud. It also distract me because i'm not sure what it's for and I can't see all of it. overall though, this really represents "silence" well.

huh, reminds me of a book i'm reading, Green angel. It has a very dark feeling to it, almost depressed, like death or loss of some sort. This is what i recieve from this. Please tell me if i'm, wrong. But i think whats most imortant here is that this very well done, and succesful.

The colour scheme and composition create atmoshphere that suits perfectly the theme of "silence". It's one of first things that come to mind seeing this [the second one would be probably loneliness hah, but it's just me, don't mind me]

Gorgeously colored... has a classic feel to it, where everything was done traditionally and had the appeal of a modern day digital drawing. I love the colors used... they definitely get the theme across.
