Since I haven't posted anything Nintendo related in quite some time, I'd like to send this out to a great friend of mine..T'was yer Birthday a couple of moons ago.. and I wanted to give you some thing on the day but yeah~ being slack and lazy doesn't help! X]
No- I won't draw you Birthday Art.. asking me will just be pointless really, I do gifts to whoever I want so please stop asking
So anyway, here is Macho Grubba and Major Burrows cause I know ya like em both and I couldn't really decide who or which one to draw for you
I have not drawn these everr, so yea first time is a charm! :>

Uggh, even though I love how this came out....colours and all, I have to excuse myself for the rather odd faint weird marks on the middle to the bottom parts of the image ;__; I think it was caused by pressing down too hard with the pencils, either that or over doing the areas whilst blending and such..
I used one of my Boyfriend's old sketch books.. so I know it;s cartridge paper but I have no idea what gsm it is.. it's very smooth though and that is why I chose to work with it. Next time I will keep an open mind on not applying too much force with my pencils
Regardless of that, I had heaps of fun drawing and colouring this in
Time: Approx 3.5 hours. (lol, I'm a bit rusty with colouring in fast these days and I have become rather fussy with a lot of things)..

This is freakin' awesome, I love it sooooooooo much!! Seriously, I was not expecting this at all! I can not tell you how much I totally adore this piece from you! I was screaming at my brothers: "OMG, Look at what one of my best friends drew for meeeeeeeeee!!!" 
To say it was your first time drawing them....you did an excellent job on'em! 
I'm really lovin the colors, too! The cartridge paper you used makes it look like you drew the piece on fabric-like paper!
I can go on-and-on-and-on-and-on-and-on about how much I love this piece, but then that'd probably get boring and long-winded.
Again, I really Really REALLY appreciate such a lovely gift from you, dear!

The only bummer side to it was the glare from the paper (with pencils) and scanner issues with it :L but it looks really good in real life 
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 8D a future commission with these two ayy? >:] aesme, can't wait to tinker with them again.. Major burrows was so much fun to draw X3 big fluff ball and all

I've been trying new technique's with colouring and lighting.. I like the outsides of things to be lit in a certain way.. depending on what and where it is XD

I dont know if its just me orrrrrrr your colouring just got.. fluffy.
And by that I mean the colour blending, not so much the pressure used. love it!~
Because pressure sucks enough for the paper and scanner to go "OMG RIPPLE EFFECT SHINE"

Heh, fluffeh~ X] I think it was due to the sketch book I was on.. one of Didz's old ones from school x'D but yeah hate it when that happens >_> I tried re scanning it but the same thing happened.. so it isn't scanner related

Well it is, look at dat furrr and oh-so-blocky texture.
ahhhh and I guess it'd be the pencil reflecting to the scanners light. I'd assume the pictures a bit.. worn. see, it did the same thing to me when I applied too much pressure to my work too. d:

Blocky texture? O_o; Ugh, I am so used to using my Monte Marte layout paper that I lack any knowledge of other paper X3 even though... reflex paper was my best friend back in the 90's
Stoppid scanner T__T I will be more careful with preasure next time.. Remember how I told you I double re-line? Cause when I colour some times pencil goes over the black line (or on it) so by re lining with black over it after you're all done it will be picked up by the scanner a bit better??
I miss my old flat bed scanner! :'[ I have this huge thing now... but I liked using the other scanners soft ware for editing...
