I have this fight all the time. ALL. THE. TIME!!! The wild things do not need names. They just don't! Chiefly because when the volunteers at work name them silly things, it's hard for me to keep them all straight! The salamander's name is something crazy like "Horatio Billingsworth, Esquire".I love that resigned little growl Prowl does. It clearly states, "You are not going to comprehend the concept and I refuse to spend the energy trying to pound it into your thick brain cavity. I have to figure out how to convey that in a comic strip.

Awww, I name the wild things. But... I usually just name them all Charlie. For some reason, I'm stuck on that name. I name homeless people, too. I guess that's not the same. Somewhere in Alaska, Charlie Moose is still eating out of my former dumpster.
