I have created this headdress as more than just a skin with some leather string tied to it: It is built to be functional, sturdy, and beautiful.

Crafted from a VERY rare silvery-black coyote I purchased from a fellow artist. His face was already shaped for the most part when I got him (he was a rug before he became a headdress), but I did have to do some work to the muzzle because it warped a bit when I removed it from the padding it had been attached to. Now, it's one of the most stunning headdresses I've offered to date!

This little guy is an impressive shade of dark charcoal black with silver-tipped guard hairs and white highlights around the shoulders and sides. His face is strippled with bits of gray, white, and black, but he retains a hint of brown behind the ears and at the butt of the tail. By far one of the most unusual and unique coyote colorations I've EVER seen!

Measures 55" in overall length. Has two strips of recycled black buckskin leather attached to the sides so you can tie it atop your head as pictured.
