So I finally learned how to use layer masks in photoshop and... where have you been all my life?I was just messing around with different colouring and shading techniques. To be honest, I really, reallyΒ hate shading. xD It's probably because I've never been happy with the technique that I use. I think I just need to keep experimenting until I find something that works for me. Now that I know how to use layer masks maybe I will learn to at least tolerate it. xD
Anyways, have some art of Rodwen! I can't wait to start developing this guy and having him interact with everyone.

Yes, layer masks are amazin'. Just search it on youtube and you should find some videos telling you how to use them! That's what I did anyways. xD

oi I'll agree with you there on the shading, I always get to it thinking i'm gonna make it really detailed and just end up doing the most basic shading possible lel. I'm also scared shitless of backgrounds but that's cus I'm so used to working in sai and get confused very easily with all the stuff in photoshop, but I supposed I need to learn some time or another :v
