I've been getting alot more into Scott Pilgrim lately, so I've decided to draw Ramona Flowers, Scott's manipulative, toxic serial heartbreaker of a girlfriend... She gets better (mostly) by the end of the series. One thing I wasn't expecting was the challenges of adapting Brian's super stylized artstyle to my... Admittedly still very stylized way of drawing. Like, as an example I actually couldn't find a definitive answer for Ramona's eye colour (I didn't look that hard, though) so I ended up making them an amber-ish colour, kinda like Haruko from FLCL, who I think Ramona took a few pointers from, design-wise.

Oh, and on the subject of the new Scott Pilgrim show that's coming out (I'm not calling it a fucking anime because that's all marketing shit) and I'm actually interested since Brian did say it's not gonna be a complete 1:1 adaptation/retread of the comics, a move I support because why would anyone want to just re-tread the same thing over and over again? Still, it's all in the execution and I guess I could say I'm... Excited to see how it turns out.
