Description
Before someone else asks, it's NOT photo manip or whatever - it's a straight up painting.Evgeni Malkin and Alex Ovechkin rockin the pink hats.
I don't know the original context of this picture but I think the juxtaposition of Russian NHL superstars in USA baseball unis is brilliant. Also my first half-assed attempt at some kind of backdrop. Figure/environment relationships = suck.
Might resize it, and fix a few things here and there.

Yes, they're Russian, but the USA's national baseball team did this thing to showcase the number 1 prospects in the NHL draft the year they were drafted.

wonderful. The background seems somewhat bland, but it works.

the background is straight out of the original image, and i wanted it to retain some kind of painterly aspect so it wouldn't fall flat and mechanical. didn't help that the photo was taken on an overcast day so the original colours were lacking as well.
