Description
It was Valentine's Day again at Wammy's House.
Everyone had written cards and prepared gifts for their special person.
But of course Mello wasnt into these things , so he went about as if it were a normal day.
He was walking through the halls on his way to the libary when he saw Matt.
Matt was all cheery when he was talking to the other kid , but when he saw Mello he hesitated to approach him.
This confused Mello.
Matt has never hesitated to approach him before ever.
Then Mello noticed Matt's hands were behind his back.

Could he be hiding something ?

"Hey Mello" , Matt greeted walking towards him.
"Uhhh , hey".
"I got you something . . for . . for Valentines Day".

Taking a few quick breathes , he then shut his eyes tightly together and presented Mello with a small red box.
On top under the flap of the maroon bow , there was a piece of folded parchment.
Mello held the box in one hand , while he un-folded the piece of paper in the other.
Mello read it quietly to himself ;
From : Matt
To : Mello
Happy Valentines Day
Mello then slipped the piece of paper into his front pocket.

"Ummmmmm , sorry i didnt know what to write and yeah . . . " , Matt apologized scratching the back of his head , unaware that his cheeks are a flamming red.

Mello lifted the lid off the box very delicately.
Lying on a bed of soft light pink rosey bits of tissue paper was a small chocolate heart.
Mello just stared at it not knowing what to say.
After moments of awkward silence , Mello spoke.

"Thanks Matt" , he looked up and smiled at him.
Matt returned the smile.

Not knowing what to do now the two of them wondered off in different directions.
Mello took a book from the libary and returned to his room with no intentions of reading it.
Matt on the other hand ran straight to his room and dived into his bed.
He was extremely embarrissed , so he decided to take a nap so he wouldnt think about it any more.
Lying on his bed , Mello constantly fiddled with the little red box.
So many thoughts rushing past him , after quite sometime Mello made up his mind.
So he went to look for Matt.
After searching for quite sometime , Mello began to get anxious and frustrated.

Where the hell are you Matt ?

Finaly Mello decided to look in Matt's Room.
He wasnt actually nervous until he approached the bed room door.
Not knowing if he should knock or just barge in , he took a few breathes before he lightly tapped on the door.
He waited , but there was no response.

"Matt" , Mello whispered aloud.
But still there was no response.So he tried again.

"Matt" , he said louder this time.
And this time he heard rustling from behind the door.

Matt opend the door with his messy red hair everywhere .
He was rubbing his bleary eyes.
When he saw Mello , his cheeks became a cotton candy pink.

"Uhh , yes Mello ?" , he asked nervously.
"Can i come in?" Mello was trying really hard not to freak out.
"Sure" , Mat stood aside as Mello walked past him.

He closed the door behind him.
The room was slightly dark , but it wasnt night fall yet.
When Matt turned around Mello was standing in front of him looking down.
Matt saw that he was bitting his lower lip.

"You okay Mello ?" Matt asked.
Mello looked up.

Matt saw that his cheeks were also slightly pink.
Releasing his bottom lip , Mello looked away.
Matt was just about to speak when Mello pushed him against the door with alot of force.
With both hands beside Matt's head , Mello decreased the space between their faces.
Matt's cheeks gradually became redder and redder.
Mello crashed thier lips togther , after about 3 seconds Mello deepend the kiss with Matt allowing him to do so.
When air became to scarce mMello released their lips.

With both their faces as red as can be , Mello smiled.

"Happy Valentines Day Matt", Mello breathed.
"Heh. Thanks", Matt replied still breathless and flushed.
