Description
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

That is such an amazing saying. C: And you were drawing this at my house! I think! I remember some talk about wolves and the white one being the bad one, and I think I agree. It is a very sinister sort of look to its face. They remind me a little bit of Amaterasu with the markings like that. And I like the background -- subtle, but an important frame!

I don't fully remember why, but I did once read that story. It was really neat because I feel that everyone has good and not so good inside of them and at a point in their lives they start to decide which they will feed. And just because the other wolf is still inside you, doesn't mean anything is wrong with you. I liked the story and I love this response to it. How is Boys With Wings going? I think you should post another update to remind some of us watchers to keep reading:]

Beautiful. And true. It's a really uplifting story with an amazing picture to accompany it. I like how the design of the two wolves compliments itself, it's a new, unique approach to the concept of yin and yang.
