Lore notes:

-The crew from the wreck of the FMS Northern Star are ghoulified norwegian sailors whose ship washed up on the beaches of the Commonwealth. Given their lack of resources and the language barrier, they tend to act as a raider group for survival.

-The L&L gang is one of the biggest enemies of the Railroad just under the Brotherhood of Steel and the Institute. Their sadistic preference for killing Generation-3 synths sets them as a priority threat for the Railroad. The leader of the synth liberation movement tells how they have lost more synth lives to this raider gang than even to the Institute coursers.

-Raider attack dogs are a common sight in the Commonwealth and are used by many gangs. They are trained best when the band has a houndmaster.

-The berserk raiders are a very remote kind of bandits found during the incident in the Parsons State Insane Asylum. The Cabot family owns a mysterious serum which modifies their bodies preventing them from aging and giving them intensified abilities. A set of the serum had been stolen from the Cabots by a raider gang and soon enough they became addicted to it when their bodies started to become stronger than ever. Now they want to find the source of it by attacking the Asylum.

-The Combat Zone is the Boston Orpheum Theatre repurposed as a cage fighting arena under a ghoul host. The venue exclusively serves a raider audience ever since a gang took over and made a deal with the ghoul owner. The Combat Zone has been agreed as a neutral area for all raider gangs to come to drink, trade and entertain themselves with the cage fights.

Design & Personal notes:

-The L&L gang is a coalition of several bands and is composed by six leaders. While some of them rule over parts of the wasteland and the city ruins and their designs actually have the same looks as all other standard raiders (Ref. Commonwealth Raiders #1-3), others tend to be more civilized and infiltrate themselves in communities to look for nice opportunities and find their favorite victims (Gen-3 Synths). Therefore I here show a couple models for the members of the gang who lurk in more civilized areas, wearing mainly apparel such as leather outfits rather than the usual psychotic scrap metal armor.

-The Combat Zone cage fighter is obviously based on Cait, just like the Minutemen Colonel is based on Preston Garvey. I wanted her to look fierce and strong while still showing an obvious addiction to chems and bruises from her fights as the champion of the Combat Zone.

-The Combat Zone host model has taken a darker turn and has a little inspiration from the most elegant raider model of the original concept designs from Fallout 4.

-The unique little bit of lore for the minor band of the FMS Northern Star needed its own style. I remember once seeing a mod to change their appearance from generic ghoul raiders to something more "seaman" worthy. Basically a fisherman outfit with a norwegian flag is the most reasonable choice for the design.

-The Parsons Asylum is guarded by mercenaries hired by the Cabot family. I believe the berserk raiders should have been able to scavenge some of the gear of the mercenaries they must have killed to get their hands on the Cabot serum.
