One of the Pirate Nobles- previous known as the Four Emperors- with Luffy’s ascension to Pirate King, the roster now includes Blackbeard, Shanks, Buggy, Daemon, Mare, Jeanne, Kaido’s brother- O D. Shin with Copter being the mastermind, Kidd, Law, and Enel- 10 Pirates who essentially govern the other Pirates so the Pirate King be free to do what he wants…At least until he enlists Flint E. Nothing and through him, becomes the Pirate King of the VOID Line that he resurrects.

The son of Rocks D. Xebec and Sea D. Jeanne, after the God's Valley Incident, he was left alone as everyone else was captured- shifted from island to island with an increasing low opinion of himself until being adopted on the Whitebeard Pirates with just some place to call home but was too miserable to sleep. Until a voice from the void of his subconscious gave him guidance in order to find some purpose in life- become a Pirate King, create his own crew, and rule the world. He would create the Blackbeard Pirates behind his back. This voice would increasingly corrupt him until it drove him on his plan to assassinate Fourth Division leader of the Whitebeard Pirates for what was assumed to be the Dark-Dark Fruit, sell out his former commander Portgas D. Ace to become a Warlord, gain access to the prisoners of Impel Down Level 6 including the secret levels of 7,8, and 9- each in separate locations in the New World to bolster his crew over two years, kill Whitebeard to get his Tremor-Tremor Fruit win the Paramount War/Rocky Port Incident to oust Ochaku and become an Emperor, awaken the Dark-Dark- which is actually the God-God: Moon God Madden- the rival of Sun-God-Nika, and discover the One Piece to become the Pirate King. He clashed with Shanks- managing to defeat him but his victory was overshadowed by Luffy's defeat of Shanks in the Elbaf-Vira conflict, leading to him going to the OLD WORLD and becoming Pirate King- forcing Blackbeard plans to take the throne from Luffy. And it gets gradually revealed that Blackbeard is a puppet to Sunny D. Joy's greatest enemy in the VOID century- neither Madden nor Imu...

Teach is contradictory- being reckless, brazen, boisterous about dreams, charismatic, strategic, and confident one moment and craven, cowardly, cautious, monstrous and underhanded the next- mostly when the influence over him takes over. He never sleeps due to this voice taking over and acting as him as the real him sleeps and subtly influences his decisions.

He has all Rulers Haki types, All Nature Haki Types, Sorcery Haki, Divine Haki, Crazy Haki, Balance Haki, and Normal Haki in addition to Mana mastery and rudimentary Aura control.

He has the God-God: Moon God Madden- which in its Gear 1 state- allows him to negate conventional Devil Powers and even Haki with limited lunar gravity manipulation- like Luffy, he has 12 Gears including his base form. He also has Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor Fruit (re-modified as a Vegetable) which allows him at most recklessly to cause vibrations to destroy the world or use vibrations in various ways such as intangibility via vibration/molecular destabilization, deceleration, and acceleration/sound detection/vibration telekinesis/sharpness manipulation/etc, and lastly the Mythical Zoan Tomato- the Turtle-Turtle: Genbu- a massive purple turtle with a snake head for a tail that allows Blackbeard to fire condensed water streams from the three cannons on his back, darkness manipulation, winter manipulation, regeneration, supernatural defense, and retracting his head/limbs into his shell.

He has obtained Sad’s Void Century Axe, which generates energy allowing him to increase cutting future by using the adding kinetic energy to increase inertia force.
