Description
So, after some days of experimenting, this came out. I was trying to create a romantic atmosphere, so I decided to use a softer makeup here than in most of my other portraits. And to emphasize the romantic feeling, I used natural lighting (sunshine/window/blinds) to emphasize it's movement and colors. The warm lighting enhances the red/copperish color tones. This portrait is a personal favourite of mine, because it shows all my natural colors.---

This has spent more time on my desktop wallpaper than most other photos from DA. I am surprised I hadnt commented on it before now, and probably havent fav'd it either.
The clarity of the photo, the contrasts in color between hair and eye and skin and the lighting are fantastic. I love this photo and this series. Thank you so much for sharing your tallents with us!

I usually don't like pictures of people, but this one's nice an shiny or something. I don't really get a romantic radiation from it, maybe I'm just not a romantic guy. I get more a feeling of reminiscence. That's something I like alot. By the way, that's a lot of hair, be careful with it. *peer*

Great photo! The highlights are all blown to hell, but it works so good for this picture. The contrast between your face and the hair works very well. Personally my favourite thing about the photo, is your bright blue eye staring straight into the lens. Nice.

The subject and colors are beautiful. I love the color of your hair eyes, and lips. I especially like the use of the over exposure to bring out those colors. The only think I might change is increasing the depth of field a little bit.

did you ever notice that people look like a completely different person upside down, it is kind of like a subtle disguise or an alter ego...i really like the picture and it does strike me as romantic in a lonely way...i think it would add to the symbience of the image if the eye-shadow, lipstick, matched the hair. they are all beautiful colors but i think that would tie it together well.
