So, I finally found my white princess.
Nothing artistic about this photo, I just want to show off my new behbe, like any other newbaked mother.
She's exactly 10 weeks on this photo, the previous owner had to give her away a bit early. We drove for 16 hours just to get her, the first thing the previous owner did was grabbing the car door open and shout "You're both CRAZY!" And then laughed.
She was so sweet, we sat there drinking coffee with her for an hour. Her name was even Anita, hehe...Mira is the cutest, fluffiest kitty I've ever met, I have no idea what kind of breed she is, but she looks a lot like a forestcat.
The sad thing is that she's completely deaf, but it doesn't seem to bother her.

Deafness....if that's even a word, seems to be a rather common thing among white cats with blue eyes, or white cats and dogs that have one blue eye and one green eye. Our dog was like that and she was deaf and I have a friend's who cat is like that and is also deaf. Just something I thought was interesting. Anyway, she's very pretty. We have an all black one, but just as fluffy, with the same shaped face.

She is adorable! This photo is wonderful, very artistic in my opinion. It's sad to hear that she is deaf, but like a previous poster said, if she has been deaf from birth, she doesn't know the difference. Again, wonderful photograph!

Yeah, deafness will never bother an animal like a cat or a dog. If they were born that way, it's all they know so they don't know the difference and they end up adapting just fine to it anyway. You just have to pound on your floor or something so she can feel the vibration if you want to get her attention.
I saw a cat at an adoption center that was also deaf. He was shorthaired, completely white, and had one blue eye and one yellow eye. His name there was Pierre. He was so beautiful.

Actually, the fact that she's deaf doesn't surprise me. White cats with blue eyes are very often blind, deaf, or both. o.O
Oh well. At least she won't jump at sudden noises. And she's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuute.... :3
