this was shot on the Hopi indian reservation. I wonder if the Indigenous people feel free, or even safe under that flag. I don'tf- is for fighting
r- is for red, ancestors blood in battles they shed
e- we elect them
e- we eject them, in the land of the free and home of the
brave

thats an amazing photo, I insantly gasped once I saw that. I lvoe that horizon line, and that contrasted dark flag to make an amazing focal point. This is amazing, once again.

Caught yourself a fantastic image there. I like to see photos that make people think, on some deeper level then wow that flower is nice, or she has great legs.
Sometimes I think we concentrate too hard on ignoring what frightens us. On what we know should matter more.

i feel your cynicism man. although the flag always makes me feel proud and patriotic, the direction our leadership is taking us is disturbing. and the more i think about it, the less i want to be here in the good ol' usa. excellent shot. very moving and bleak

thanks, the cool thing is I didn't have to jack with any color, the wind was blowing that red dirt everywhere and it turned everything so fu**ing red, I wish I could have captured it the way I saw it, but such is life

So funny, how in the last few years digital has jumped ahead and advanced, and still, there's all kindsa of stuff neither film nor digital can capture accurately. Better that way sometimes though, I think.
