I enjoy etching, so far. This is the first project of three for the second half of my printmaking class this semester. We had to draw an object from observation, and I don't know why, but I really wanted to draw keys.

This is the second state. Since this print, made maybe 2 weeks ago, I've sracped out the key in the upper right, and gone over the darks using drypoint.

But this print is special because my professor said that you couldn't print on newsprint. Well, I decided I'd try it for myself by printing my ghosts on newsprint. Obviously the quality is horrendous, but I like that I have mulitple copies of an image, even copies I can completely ruin.
