Here's my design of a character for *Alexiel-Kurai 's "Team Oracle" Contest!

Nemos is an outcast from a clan of Nemean Lions, as he chose the life of a wanderer over a regimented life of a soldier or head of household.
Though he is considered an outcast his people bear him no ill will, nor he them- He simply seeks to challenge his physical might and strength of will against the world.

He is adept at the use of most weapons, though he carries none, save for his retractable claws on both hands and feet. His strength (and the strength of his people) is legendary, and he is able to lift several times his own weight, while also keeping his feline speed and agility.

The jewels that rest on his silver headdress and belt-piece are highly prized 'Rage Stones' that have a dual effect of calming the wearer's otherwise violent temper, and storing rage to be used as explosive pulses of energy.

I thought the other two characters being a white arctic fox and a white lynx needed something darker/stronger to round out the team dynamic, so I immediately knew I wanted to do a black lion!
I decided to design my black lion character and his 'race' after the Spartan warriors of Ancient Greece! Truth be told I was watching way too much 'Spartacus' on TV when I originally came up with his design, and I've been refining him for the past month or so.

So here he finally stands! Hope you like it.
