It's true, whenever Neire and Nael are fighting the enemies, they're gambling their own life while at it.
For them, its fun and challenging (yes, Nael feel the same way too) and to prove how strong they are.
They didn't realize this is actually torturing Cherry from the inside because of the worries she has developed for them.
