ok, we have this project in my Illustration class: take a fiction character- and redisign it without changing the story..

I took PowerRangers! as my subject.. this is 'theoreticly' red ranger

Looks like a Nightmare Ranger... it's pretty sweet (and I love the glow of the visor most of all)

Now this I like. I sense a theme of orange fire in your Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers remakes. This guy looks just fearsome. His body is tense like a cat's, ready to strike at whatever soldiers the bad guys throw at him. You made him a lot more insidious looking, and i like that touch.

I've always hated Power Rangers...however, this is awesome. I love the dark atmosphere and the intensity of the red ranger. If the Power Rangers had the look and tone of this...I think I wouldn't hate them, I would be a fan.

Wow! The power rangers have never looked so good.

Well, except the green ranger - he was always pretty pimpin'. He even has his own megazord that shot rockets from its fingers.

In my opinion this looks nothing like the wimpy power rangers that I have seen, and I mean that in a good way. This guy looks like he takes no prisoners and is pissed off that the show is for little children, whose parents wont let them watch anything rated over "G". This is bad ass. keep it up.

I don't know about Power Rangers, but this picture is great. I love the colours used, the style and the stance, it all works together to give it a just a very original look, and a look that really works. Great job.

The lighting and color scheme are awesome! I also love the point of focus in the character's eye. It really draws you into that top and right third of the drawing letting you look down and see the rest of the body. Good opening in the left and having the character face it, really brings action into the picture.
