Description A needle felted onigiri plush that I made for 's birthday back in May. I didn't give it to her until early June though. Super fun to make, I should do these more often.

100% wool roving and barbed needles.

I buy my wool roving from this store [link] I use bot the corriedale and the eco roving.

Awesome! :3 I've been using natural wool roving from clover and it tends to get very messy ~ :/ and super fuzzy! i don't know how to minimize the fuzziness ~ xDD lol

fuzziness just happens, I usually try to get rid of the fuzziness by felting it and then trim some of the stray fibers with scissors.

mmmkay~ Dx it also helps with the more natural roving it seems. x3 i have roving that the fibers are going in all different directions so its easier to shape. i guess i'll try to find more of that type. xD

no guide, but onigiri has a simple shape.
