I'm spamming your devwatch a lot tonight, lol XDThis was made as a random picture. At first, I just wanted to get back in touch with acrylics... then I went "let's do Kurapika" and while sketching "ooh, let's try the hand like this" and then "the chain like this", "the eyes like that"... all random XD I don't think the arm is totally correct....
Also, I did some mistakes in inking, they've been more or less covered with the paint, but they're there
Despite this, it's pretty good O.o I can say I like it
The eyes are what I like most <3The colors of the original are better. ù_ù
Now, I definitely need to go to sleep D:

Sorry for cursing, it just makes me excited to see really good artwork. ;3 Brilliant work with Kurapika! The perspective on his face looks perfect to me. His arm is a little off - I think at that angle, you'd be more likely to see the top of his forearm, not the underside of his wrist, but that hand turned out amazingly well... Great work!

Wait, his right eye or the eye on your right? ^^ Actually, I have already noticed that the one of the eyes isn't right, or rather: if I look at them separately, neither of them seems wring to me, but someway they don't get perfectly together @_@ I still don't understand exactly what it is XD
Still, if it contributes to be scary, that's only good XDDD

his right eye, or the left eye for the viewer. In a forced camera shot being his head on the foreground it would work perfectly, but since here it's the hand the focal point, it seems kinda off to me xD

The Acrylic painting looks kinda hard. =/ That's why I'm sticking with watercolours before I do something challenging.

The hard thing of acrylics is that they dry faaaaaaasst @_@ So if you make a mistake, you cannot fix it watering over it <.< on the other hand, this allows to paint multiple layers of color that won't blend together but overlap transparently (can't explain well, sorry XD)... and the colors are very bright ^^
