Funny I had that verse memorized as "plank" not 'log"and "to remove" not "to take"
Still can't believe I remember some of the verses I memorized.
..oh looked it up I had the NIV translation version memorized

Haha yeah the different translations are always a fun thing to encounter. For example:
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)
"The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these." (Isaiah 45:8, NASB)
"I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7, NIV)

Well no wonder people keep telling me "GOD DIDN'T CREATE EVIL SATAN DID!!11". Transliterations that church it up (pardon the pun) are to blame.

Haha yeah, it's pretty bothersome! Though it's interesting, technically wouldn't God have created evil, if he created the devil in the first place?

You try and tell them that and they explode. Apparently "creating everything" doesn't mean everything.
