Age 34
Viv Leitner is one of the most well known media figures in Harbor City. At first a television reporter for Harbor City News, she shot to prominence as the press secretary for candidate and then Mayor Erica Wilson.
After Mayor Wilson's election, Viv returned to her passion: reporting. Now she is a correspondent for Harbor City News and frequent writer for several online investigative journalism sites. She is well known as someone who will do anything and face any risk to tell "The Story".
Little does anyone know, but Viv is actually superhuman. She possesses supernatural luck, a trait she inherited from her long dead grandfather, the occultist Jurgen Leitner.
Powers
Investigative Invulnerability - as long as Viv is investigating secrets to reveal to the public, Karma seems to hold her sacrosanct. She will always be in the right place to miss being hit, always find the right words to say to give an aggressor pause, and always manage to escape a disaster with nary a hair on her head ruffled. She is often caught up in a disaster or kidnapped by terrorists or taken by a supervillain, but ultimately no harm comes to her, no matter how grim the situation appears. When she is not on a case, however, she is as vulnerable as anyone else.
Viv is a good journalist, a competent computer hacker and a very good writer. She is also quite charismatic and knows how to work a crowd both as a public speaker and an actress.
