i need to start drawing again

quick runthrough of my drawing process:
1. sit at the computer for three hours because self comparison to other artists and art block
2. cry
3. sleep
4. repeat
but on a more serious note i try to think of the character themself and i try to think of a fitting angle and pose? like i try to (tw bee movie quote) "shake it up a little" and occasionally use really dramatic angles (from above or below)

i've been working on my poses, but since this was new material i completely forget about that ;; we'll see what i'll do (wrong) in the future (and probably pokemon from here on out, for that Peer Recognition™)

If you are passionate about pixel art, i would suggest looking into jaggies. Banding is another issue, but jaggies are the big one.

one thing i think happened is that i started with a 250 x 250 and shrunk down to 125 x 125 because it looked better. but doing that screwed up the proportions

you need to resize off an aspect ratio, and draw in a stable one.
but jaggies are an issue. they make your round shapes look off. it wasnt meant to be offensive, just to help
