May I ask you a constructive question?

How do you manage to scan the pencil art to have the same dark density as this? Or do you digitalize the pencil sketch after scan? Or maybe just draw directly in the computer.

I ask because each time i scan my pencil sketch it comes too light... and when I try to darken the line-art with crt-L (photoshop), the whole page darkeners.
