I've resigned myself to just not expecting anything from her anymore. I find it makes the episodes more enjoyable.

Please comment and enjoy.

no one ever talks about Korra's threats i mean the girl threaten to kill that judge and the remaining members of Zaheer's squad. she said something like "when i get out of here none of you will survive"

anyway this was funny lol

I hid my comment 'cause I relizsied evreyone already pointed out that she got her character development by the end of book four, so I'm just going to say this: why did she have to say what she said in panel four instead of the actual show?!

Season 4 Korra is MUCH more mature

Korra's story was nicely wrapped-up in the first season...2-4 didn't work so well on their own, and they didn't mesh together well either.

Yeah, overall, there was a lot of disconnect between the seasons

LoK was great and all, but I don't personally consider it to be at the same level as the original Avatar. If the writers had known they'd be able to do four seasons, and if they had plotted the show with that in mind, I feel like it could have received a more cohesive narrative that could have easily propelled it to or above that level. (If nothing else, they could have explored the motives behind the villains better. The Equalists and the Earth Empire had at least a few salient points, and I feel like the Red Lotus could have as well, if they were focused on more. Personally, I feel like the Equalists would have been the best choice, but I can see arguments for the others.)

Big deal avatars don't have to obey the law when someone asks why they don obey the law there response should always be BECAUSE IM THE FΒ£%KING AVATAR ASSHOLE THATS WHY
plus no one should really oppose an avatar best case scenario when going against an avatar depowered/ imprisoned worse case dead and if you think you've killed the avatar then Bad News HE/SHE IS STILL ALIVE/ REINCARNATED AND THEY REMEMBER YOUR FACEΒ which in basic termsΒ basically means..............................................................
RUN FOR YOU F%$KING LIFE AND GO HIDE IN A CAVE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE

Korra is definitely something different. Love the "Korra Smash!" panel ^^
Personally I love how she was planning to open the portal to the spirit world : by punching it, several times. Korra rocks so much XD

PuddingValkyrie [2015-02-12 12:52:09 +0000 UTC]

I like how her solution to pretty much everything was punching until the point when the solution WAS punching and then she tried not to use punching.Β  Oh Korra.Β  I love you really.

masterofhorr In reply to PuddingValkyrie [2016-04-13 02:10:41 +0000 UTC]

I remember when the solution was punching, she tried to punch, doesn't work because obstacle is better at punching, and then a Deus ex Machina gives her the ability to clock obstacle and THEN resort to not punching sometimes.

That's not really hypocritical. Β Even though he does not like lying, that was necessary in order to get out of a situation that had them screwed.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

masterofhorr In reply to iamnotamember1 [2016-04-14 12:52:26 +0000 UTC]

They possibly do, but in times of war they can slip up on that. Β Like how they were talking to Monk Gyatso about separating them without ever actually telling Aang. Β Yes they probably were going to tell him anyway. Β But they didn't bring him in to voice his own opinion on the matter, as he is the Avatar, not some average kid. Β They were (at least somewhat) justified in this mentality because war was on the horizon.

Makin her a hipocrite makes her better, becouse she's calmer and more mature later. I would call that a character development.

MercuryPaint In reply to nitrokitty123 [2015-01-06 01:08:11 +0000 UTC]

Shut up, you're just sad 'cause you can't accept other people becoming the Avatar other than your "nostalgic hero." But guess what, Aang didn't want to fight the fire lord. He didn't want the unifying of the Earth and Fire Nations (which lead to the creation of the United Republics) He didn't want to end the war if it meant doing something he wasn't comfortable with. He went completely bananas whenever something bad happened, like when he lost Appa and blamed Toph and nearly got them all stuck in the desert after destroying those sand boats out of rage. He also shot Old Iron in the chest, which proves that Aang was not good at dealing with spirits as Korra is. So, yeah, there you go.
And don't tell me Aang did more than Korra, cause she did WAY more than Aang. Even Tenzin admits it
