HAIR DOES NOT KNOW GENDER. IF IT'S ON THIS CHART I'VE SEEN A GUY WITH IT.

Examples:
-Sepiroth - Final Fantasy 7

-Axel, Riku, Leon, Xenmas - Kingdom Hearts

Raiden - Metal Gear Solid

-Haji - Blood Plus ; Lestat - Queen of the Damned, Edward Elric - FMA

-Kokoum and others from Pocahontas[they had long hair]
Regardless of headband or not, its the same hairstyle -_-...and if you think a headband makes something manly, you really need to re-evaluate your logic.

-John Rolfe had a ponytail, though it was worn low.

-A lot of Chinese men wore the pigtail. [Kung fu Hustle? Shanghai Knights? Ranma? Did anyone watch Mulan?]

-Legolas - Lord of the Rings

-Metalocalypseeathklok - Toki,Swisgar,Nathan Explosion?

-Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel?

-Hippies?

And yes, it is indeed AZULA'S HAIRSTYLE. BUT it CAN be worn by members of the other sex! Haru's hairstyle anyone? That could be worn by a girl too! Hair isn't always so clearly gender-roled. We are in 2009 people.
