You know, working on both a webcomic & a game at the same time really cuts from the time I can actually spend on making regular art to just post on DA at random.As I don't want to constantly spam my DA with new comic pages [as you can all read them on my site >:T neorice.com] I guess I have no option but to post some related things.
So here's a screenshot from the latest version of the Frogatto game with a clear shot of Frogatto's house, which is neat.

Looks neat... but I dunno why somethings have a stronger outline, while the Background and details have smoother lines, somethings, like the character itself, and his life (the green pellets) have certain outline that makes them look out of place.

I hope you can. Your work has inspired me to explore a new dimensions of the art scene. I loved the details in Frogatto and also came across Cavestory, then pixeljoint, as well as some indie gaming sites. Pixel art is a great piece of art culture!
I now hope to make some pixel art soon. Not that it won't be rotten, but we all have to start somewhere

The menu interface looks really well laid out, and the attention to detail is especially nice and refreshing to see in a game design. Combined with the interesting design choices and stark color combinations, this game is shaping up very nicely! ^_^

Frogatto is not finished, but you can test out a beta version at frogatto.com
the system is windows or mac
the story isn't in the game yet, after we're satisfied with the gameplay mechanics there will be one, though.
