I like this because I can see where you push yourself with each drawing.
Her eyes trapped me as soon as I saw this.
Keep drawing, and each one will bring the subtle and eventual changes to your art that you desire.

Welcome to DA and welcome to Project Comment! I see you've been here for 3 weeks and your gallery looks very good.
If you're looking to go further with your style, may I suggest a bit more shading to bring out the 3D shapes of the head and hair. Your work Reference is very well done, and more shadow under the chin would help here. Also, I'm not sure if this is a straight on view or slightly turned to the right. The even space outside of the eyes and nose position suggest it's almost straight on, but the curving hair on the left side suggests more of a 3/4 view. In Reference, the head turn is much clearer based on the offsets of the nose, cheek line, and space outside the eyes. (There's probably a name for that area, I just don't know it). Lastly, you have a nice dark shadow under her forehead hair - something similar either side of the neck for the shaded hair there would help add depth.
Good stuff. Applause!
