Experimenting with art. I like to draw sketches of what someone is transforming into before I finish the story. This 'sketch' rather got away from me. Notice how the halves don't match up? I like to test out variations that way in my sketches, even on paper. Speaking of, Regal (right) actually had a mental picture and a paper sketch. Honey (left) was still a work in progress. Honey's...Honey is all gooey and bulgy and drippy and translucent (as you can see on half of her), and her chocolate bits less so. Regal was inspired by an old, similar piece by DMA, who has since deactivated entirely. Everywhere. Think "goodragon herm mecha". You know how Venom clearly doesn't map to Eddie Brock's biology, in the movie, animation, or comics? How there's clearly something impossible going on there? That's the idea here. The arms of the 'pilot' are in the wrong place, and his feet should stick out her knees or calves. If you're reading this paragraph, you won't be able to see the one body part on the pilot that maps to Regal's, in the bottom right.
