Castiel has quickly become one of my favorite characters. All of season four I loved him to death. The idea of an angel having to shed all emotion and doubt, be nothing but dutiful and to be inherently fearsome... I can imagine he was a sad and lonely being for a long time. When Cas is obviously more empathetic than his brothers or even God intended him to be.PS SCANNER RUINED THIS
