It sucks that Sega built so much suspense for these characters just to have them die and never be spoken of again. They had sooo much potential. Β *sobs* Looks like it's up to fanfic writers to save the day (again).

Yep near the end of the final level is a boss rush and when defeated they turn into a smoke puff instead of retreating. In the following cutscenes Eggman acknowledges that Sonic defeated the Zeti for good and there's no explanation of who they were or where he got them. I Haven't played the game yet, no Wii U, but I've seen the cutscenes and I liked the Deadly Six. As i thought they wereall villainous stereotypes. My favorites were Zazz and Zor. But I understand that you'll be annoyed that they didn't get a death scene. It was the only thing missing.

Well, perhaps he's not referring to the Deadly Six, but just the other Zeti in general. The Deadly Six weren't the only ones of the Zeti you know.

Oh well, from what Iβve seen I find that the current writers are good at banter and quotes but not so much at conveying a cohesive story intended to plot out incentives to a gamer. Then again it could have been a problem with something else about the production.

We got the crazy psychopath, the big,dumb brute, the whiner who hates happiness, the villain from every teen movie, the old guy who can kick your behind and...... the big, evil, over-the-top bad guy.

I thought that they seem to reference Six of the Seven Deadly Sins. Stereotypical, but fitting for that sort of thing. The fact that they look similar to Oni Demons also helps with that too.

No Sloth, but I guess that would not make a very menacing foe in a sonic game.
