This is sadly, the last custom playmat I am doing....

With COPICS!
I'm still doing them, but digitally now. PHEW! Doing these with Copics was a super dumb idea. They took over 10 hours, the markers would absorb into the mats and run out super fast, (each mat took 3-4 markers) No way to sketch on to the mat first, and if I messed up just ONCE, I couldn't take it back, so it was always super stressful and pressuring to work on these.
SO, with that being said, this is the last marker mat you will see from me.
I am doing them digitally now, since I found a site that prints them for $30 each (including shipping) and they look really great! Here's an example: [link]
If anyone here is interested let me know. They're a bit pricey though.
So this mat right here was done for a local player who wanted Mewtwo in a cape (like the one he wears in the movies) and a Darkrai and Mew. I thought it came out pretty good, so I thought I'd post it up.

Gotta say that turned out way too cool! A picture just can't quite do it justice. You sure made one happy camper with that playmat.
Cool as the Copic playmats are, I think screenprinting them is definitely the way to go in the future. So much less time involved and so much less wasted ink!

Awww thanks Bulma. :] I'm the same way with markers myself, it's so scary messing up! But still really fun when it comes out right.
Well, I've done a few digital ones so far for our TCG group, but they all have the same basic theme, and they're kinda derpy, (since I'm doing most of these for FREE for my teammates) So I wasn't really planning on putting them up, lol. Maybe I'll do a spam of ALL of them once I'm done, who knows.

Uhhh, when they ship they come in a cardboard tube? It's not very pretty though and the dumb plastic ends are really hard to get off! >:[ I can show you next tournament if you want. They look SO much better now though. Sorry I couldn't do the screen printing thing you suggested-- I'm too lazy, haha.

Yeah, our tournaments can aren't very large, so if we both do well, we tend to get paired towards the end, especially if Dev isn't playing.
What website is it? I may have to take a look.
