Nestly: So I started a Wedlocke on my Pokemon Ruby for funzies. This is my team so far.
(Anyone who doesn't know what the heck a Wedlocke is: [link] )

The next block of text will be stories I've had so far in my game, so skip if you don't wanna read this nonsense:

Started with Skippy the Mudkip. When I was a teenager I had Pokemon Ruby and a Mudkip named Skippy. Then my original DS got "stolen" and I lost the game I had him on. This was when I "quit" Pokemon, or at least caring about it for a good while until I was in my 20's. I never wound up completing any generation 3 game, so I'm a little unfulfilled there.
So I decided to recreate Skippy as a nostalgic thing.
We ran into a female Zigzagoon and caught it. What to call her? I was like, "Hmm, well Skippy is a brand of peanutbutter, so what's another brand? Jif? Lol that's not very feminine... Jiffy? LOL. Jiffy LUBE. ...." And then for idiocy I named her Jiffy Lube. xD So many bad jokes goin' on here.
Then we caught Wren, the lazy-ass Poochyena. She was so pathetic she nearly got killed by a Shroomish on the same route. If I hadn't thrown a great ball at him Wren would've died for sure since she didn't have a partner. Great way to start off a relationship, seeing as the wild Pokemon who nearly became the death of her was to be her new partner. He was lovingly named "Rebel" because of it.
Rebel is always saving Wren's rump. Is she greatful? Sure doesn't act as if! She's completely useless, lazy, and always just barely hanging onto that last bit of HP. But Rebel is a trooper and with great dignity helps her out. (He's kind of a snoot)
Then we got Rotini the Tailow. She's a little firecracker. Very respectful, but very detached. I found a partner for her in a cave; a Whismur named Cannelloni. (I was eating pasta at the time!)
Canneloni was alright, and they leveled up together, Rotini helping out her partner. Unfortunately, while battling Brawly, Rotini got smacked down by two critical hits from a Machop. Cannelloni bravely stepped in, in order to have Rotini potioned for the two remaining hits she needed. Being a normal type, however, Cannelloni bit the big one and went down for his partner. Rotini isn't a very emotional bird, but she appreciates everything he did for her in order to succeed, so she pays her respects to our first death in the team.
She has a new partner now, and a couple have evolved, so I'll try to update when I can. It''s fun!
