I remember reading somewhere that vikings rode ponies, upon further reading, I learned that they actually rode Icelandic Horses. which are a bit smaller than horses, but still larger than ponies....

regardless, I find the image of a huge, muscular, 200 pound warrior riding a tiny pony too funny to not draw!

ok, I know that actual ponies are not THAT tiny, but come on! 200 pound warrior riding a miniature horse: funny. 200 pound warrior riding a miniature of a miniature horse: LOL!

another thing I'd like to point out. actual vikings don't actually have horns on their helmet. but the depiction of the horny viking (hohoho!) in popular media have been so ingrained into our heads, that we find it hard to recognize a viking without their horns....

also, they actually wore proper armor, not tight singlets....
