first off - i am so sorry for not commenting on this earlier. It's been sitting in my inbox for weeks, I just haven't had the time to sit down and write a proper comment on it.
Where do i even begin? I've loved your art for years and i'm so glad I finally got the money to commission you! The way you work with colors and textures, it's hard to believe that you're able to do this all digitally. Seriously, every work you produce i'm left in amazement because I can't wrap my head around just how you do it.
You captured Casey perfectly! I love how you drew his face in a profile, it really shows off his cheek fur and i love the sharp lines you used for his ears - something about them is just so appealing
Your use of textures is amazing - from the leaves which are constantly shifting colors to the texture on his fur, to the watercolor wash feel of the sky behind him. Are you sure this isn't a watercolor painting?? Haha

I wanted to get the feel of a really blustery, but bright and clear fall day; it's my favorite kind of weather! I'm so pleased you like my interpretation of Casey! To me, norwegians have perfect little fox-like ears, so I particularly loved drawing Casey's little ears!
