i think... it's like using the image of che guevara. people don't even know who was he, but they use his face everywhere. the deviation themed with russian propaganda posters is quite popular, the problem is to catch the idea.
i liked only one deviation with such idea - the guy created a soviet society using the small lego people, and the topic was "work for the power of the society" or something. that was good. this has nothing to do with Russia i guess, but in general it looks ok.

sowjet (communist) propaganda art is most of the time loaded whith manly stregnth (patriachal, muscular workers and so) signs..and so an inherent homosexual symbolic (maybe not intended..cuz the authoritarian communists often happen to be homophobic machos). I really like this Deviation!!!
