A Deadpool movie would be so beyond awesome...especially if they use the older Deadpool, when he was really crazy, hanging out with Blind Al and all that. I loved him then the most.

I'm kinda put off by the fact that Gambit is older than he should be, but I'm still looking forward to seeing him on the screen. >:3
I don't think they really could pull off a good Deadpool movie without having scarred and insane Wade in it. I'm thinking they might allude to a Deadpool movie in the Wolverine movie, just to leave it open. Like, the X gene might be acting up or they mention Wade having 'left' the program. But that's just my guess.

Man, they've gotta be at least thinking about a Deadpool movie by now, with all the excitement his cameo is getting. That potential for a whole open end to his story in the Wolvie movie is more than half the reason I wanna see it in the first place. XP
I read an interview Hugh Jackman did and when they asked him about Deadpool's part in the movie, he said that the producers took certain "artistic liberties" that would piss a lot of people off, but that the fans would understand once they saw the movie. I don't know about you, but I don't like the sound of that...

Still, I wonder what they did... But then, not everything can be 100% accurate and it's like Transformers. Some people weren't happy with the new designs, but it was a new look to an old concept, and in the end there were those who were happy with it and those who weren't.

Ooh, I think I know what it might be...in the movie trailers, there's a quick part with Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool costume, without the mask (I still can't call him "Deadpool"); he doesn't have one single scar, and he has hair. That's kind of a big change, given that one of the reasons that Wade's so screwed up in the first place is because of how he feels about his scars.

Nah, it's okay. My usual movie-buddy has a different lunch so it's fun to chat with somebody else about this movie seeing as everyone else I mention Deadpool to they're all "huh?" or "Oh you mean that guy from the new Wolverine's movie". I'm sad he has such a small fanbase for such an amazing character (though I really didn't care for him much in Ultimate Spiderman...)
I've seen that, but I'm now wondering if that's the 'big change' or maybe if it's just a pre-Deadpool. Honestly, I think Ryan Reynolds MIGHT be able to pull it off, but I'm not passing judgment until movie day.
I'm somewhat apprehensive as to how Deadpool's character in the public eye will come into light. Like, in Spiderman 3, a lot of people hated that Venom (myself included) because most knew that that was certainly one of THE worst comic book character movie redux's in comic book movie history, but those who did like him usually didn't like the original because he wasn't a pretty boy... >___>

I actually can't wait to see him in that animated movie that's coming out this month, Hulk vs. Wolverine. Oh, but I'm kinda dreading what it's gonna be like after the Wolverine movie, if people decide to finally take an interest in Deadpool. I guess that means we'd better buy all the TPB's that we can before the prices go up because of all the new collectors...
Okay...when The Dark Knight was coming out and I heard that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker, I was totally against it...then it turned out that he was the best thing about that movie. So, I could also be wrong about Ryan Reynolds. But it's sooo hard to picture him that way!

I've heard about that, but I'm gonna wait for the vids to hit the internet b/c then I won't have to pay to see one character I'm looking forward to. Really, it just depends on where the fans look for info about Deadpool. I'm not a huge collector, but I swear, I will leap over heads to grab a Deadpool Mighty Mug if they ever come out with one! xD
Dude, to let him put the mask on wouldn't make it any better. I like Eddie, but I love Venom. To have seen him reduced to................................ 'that' in the movie was a major disappointment after being hyped up about the movie for months. Eh, like I said, just have to wait and see!
Honestly, I wouldn't mind letting Wade steal the show, except Wolverine has become such a fixed point for the Xmen movies..... Not to say he's not an awesome character, I just like Deadpool because he's a lot of coconuts short of a lovely bunch in a certain row. xD

It's interesting, when you think about it. Deadpool has a very materialistic view of the world. He- and this is conjecture- sees the world in dollars and cents. When he sees what others have, he asks himself how much they had to pay to get it. Do you see where I'm going with this?
