Veterice is a mid-ranking member of the Spades, an infamous yet secretive gang with suspected involvement in a number of organized crimes, including but not limited to: vandalism, mugging, possession and distribution of drugs and alcohol, major robberies, murder, arson, and even several federal offenses. So, to most, he is describable as little else than a slimy, sleazy bastard, rarely ever hesitating to use his hypnotic abilities, subtler manipulation, intimidation tactics, or even just a good old-fashioned knife or pistol to get what he wants- and for the most part, this description is pretty damn accurate. But most important of all- and it's a side of himself he goes to great lengths to conceal- he's also ambitious and ruthless, two traits which will serve him well as he gradually works his way up the Spades’ food chain, with the ultimate intention of becoming its leader- by any means necessary.
