It is quite a strong contrast between the style on the eyes and the style used in the overall character. It does capture your eye but it makes me kind of zone into the eyes instead of the rest of the character.

yeah XD i thought that too... but i wasnt sure what style to do the eyes in to make them look right so i just did my norm XD...

I think if you did them in the same flat colors that you've used for the rest of the work it would be fine. Right now it feels like there is so much more attention and effort going on in the eyes for me. It is a very strange and quirky style however, Nevaeh-Lee! <:
