He left his village behind to work as a terrorist for anti-nationalist. he was later force to join akatsuki by Uchiha Itachi. Status: (Defeated) Deidara squared off againts Uchiha Sasuke. Unfortunately Sasuke's Sharigan and his lightning elemant attacks got the better of Deidara's earth based exploding clays. In anger, Deidara chose to self-detonate himself to show the true beauty of his art..
