WOW a DD!! Thanks so much!!
He is hand made of polymer clay and tiny clock work parts. He took about 2 weeks to finish.
Other than that I aged some wood and found some public domain images for the work bench and floor.

This was inspired by a set of books I have been reading.
"Clock Work Angel" in the book there are these freaky Automatons that are made by taking humans and cutting out their heats putting them in the automatons and attaching their souls to these machines. Like I said sooo creepy!
I know he looks friendly enough but I'm NOT done with it yet! I promise he wont look so friendly when I'm done.
Forgot to mention the part
were the skin the people and use their
skins to cover the Automaton. AND they use witch craft to make them move cuse they are just made with
metal and clock parts no real technology.... like a real Automaton.

He looks deceptively innocent which makes him more creepy if you ask me
I take it you didn't make this with clocks and witch craft. If I may, how long and what exactly have you used to make this? Because it looks absolutely stunning

Very cool! I like the added touch of all the papers around him and the jar of bolts and such. Just one thing,I think maybe making the skin more worn would make it fit in with the rest more seeing as how grimy and weathered his metal parts are.Or maybe less cleanly torn straight down the middle. I hate giving advice cause it makes me feel like a jerk,I really do like it,I promise,hehe!

I need someone's advice who I knew looks at art through the same crazy eye glasses I do.
funny... I so know better that to part the skin right down the middle but I think it was a case of "I was to close to it to really see it". UGH! Oh, well next time right
I was worried about the skin looking to weathered I wanted a stark contrast between his human parts and robot parts but I think your right it might be to much...
