Here we have Princess Kizee, Big Griz, and Zuba enjoying a meal in the caves. The princess isn't used to this kind of rugged lifestyle, but Big Griz seems to fit right in! He didn't get that belly by eating snails and mushrooms
After being on the run for over a week, Zuba hunts down a small tunnel rat to feed the group. Tunnelrat meat is a common food, but it must be heavily spiced to taste better. Alone, rat meat tastes rather awful...
Sorry, no new storyline stuff with this one. I need to get to work on that picture of Elpuz and the tribal council.

Hey, sorry I didn't have much time to talk after class. I had to get over to the campus gallery to pick up the piece I submitted. The good news is that I made it into the show!

I've been really lazy with the backgrounds, but that's kind of the whole point of these drawings. I don't spend much time on them and I have a blast drawing it!

I NEVER draw backgrounds because I had it, uh! Damnd, because I'm really lazy, too, and I think I can't draw it!? My spatial sense isn't really....good!
But YOU do this job very well!!!

I just take the easy way out by slapping a geometric shape behind the figures. They are still essentially floating in space...
But it does make things look more complete.
