Description Behold my newest art project: painting on pages from a vintage book. Specifically, a bookย of poetry by John Greenleaf Whittier, published in 1887. The book was falling apart anyway, and upon researching it online, I found that it would have had little value even if it were in good condition.ย 

Fourth in a series of random subjects, I painted an owl and autumn leaves on this page.
