This is my entry for round 2 of the Dissidia Aces.My 'weather' effect was volcanic eruption, but I wanted to take some liberty with it and used the Mako eruption at the northern crater from the end of FF7 (see my shitty-out-of-proportion Highwind there?
) Gen is having some trouble with Celes and her "runic" ability seeing as he's primarily a magic user. Not quite how I wanted it to turn out, but I ran out of time! So this is the best I could get it to in its final WIP state...
I'd finish it off if I wasn't leaving for Japan in less than 10hrs

Epic effect with the perspective and all.
Just one little thing: Gen's ankle is disturbingly thin compared to the rest of his leg. Maybe you can enlarge it a bit? Cos it's in the centre of the image and draws the eyes.
